Initial Advice & Feasibility Studies

FTP are experienced in appraising potential development sites against highway design standards and transport planning policies to determine how safe and suitable access can be achieved, and how the impacts of the development can be mitigated. Our early involvement at the feasibility stage can help to optimise the level of development that can be successfully promoted and reduce the amount of work that may be required at the planning application stage.

 

Feasibility studies may include any, or all, of the following:

• Site access appraisal including preliminary highway design;

• Visibility Splay Assessments;

• Junction Capacity Assessments;

• Sustainability Assessments; and

• Pre-Application discussions with the Local Highway Authority.
